A kebab shop owner reacted brutally to a customer who said the food he was served was like “forks full of euthanasia”.
Best Kebab on Glasgow’s Dundas Street has been hit by appalling reviews of the food and service on both TripAdvisor and Google, with the owners hitting back, calling customers “Pillocks” and “Mugs”.
Corresponding Sun Online Reviews ranks the shop last among Glasgow’s fast food restaurants on TripAdvisor.
It also boasts a 1.8 score on Google.
Dissatisfied customers have lashed out at the takeaway, claiming it’s the ‘worst in Glasgow’.
A customer said he would not recommend it [his] worst enemy”, while another said the food was like “forks full of euthanasia”.
Her review read: “A large Sarbeni with doner “meat”. They called it meat. I liked to call it forks full of euthanasia.”
They continued: “It’s a risky game to eat here. I rolled and lost.”
Another customer requested a name change from Best Kebab.
“Absolutely honkin, trash kebab,” they said.
“Wanted to spit when I look at it.
“Change your shop name now.
Another wrote: “I was honestly faced with the worst customer service I have ever experienced when I charged more for my meal than what was stated on the menu and a rude person.
“Will avoid this place next time I’m in central Glasgow. Learn some manners!!”
The diner owner didn’t take the criticism and hit back by “locking out” the customers responsible for the negative reviews.
They responded to a customer and said, “You’re doing nothing, you Pillok!! LOCKED OUT!”
Another response was “Uneducated mug, you’re banned”.
Just days ago, The Mirror reported on another restaurant owner who hit back at bad reviews on TripAdvisor after a customer complained about “arrogantly slow” service.
The disgruntled customer gave Birmingham’s Sapore Italian restaurant a one-star rating after his visit, berating the “poor” food and “almost arrogantly slow” service at the restaurant.
However, the owner left a classy response, asking why the reviewer ate all of his food if it was so “awful”.
Sapore has a 4.5 rating on the travel website – with more than 300 reviews. It also received a Travellers’ Choice Award last year.
The owner of Sapore responded that it was a “shame” that the restaurant didn’t share his comments on the day of his visit instead of writing a review on Tripadvisor.
