The Killers topped Electric Picnic 2023

The Killers was announced as Sunday’s headline for Electric Picnic, when the last tickets went on sale this morning.

Electric Picnic made the announcement as it released its final tickets for the September festival at 10am.

Electric Picnic stated: “A gift that doesn’t stop giving! Introducing our Sunday title, The Killers to the #EP23 lineup.

“Last tickets go on sale at 10am – GO!”

The announcement was received with excitement from the band’s fans, and as soon as tickets were released, a huge queue formed.

At 10:25 a.m., nearly 4,000 people lined up online to buy tickets to the event.

The Killers are currently on a world tour. The band is in Australia and will be performing in Geelong on Saturday.

The band, led by singer Brandon Flowers, performed for two nights at the Malahide Castle and Gardens in Dublin in June.

The band received a warm welcome from the Irish fans and, as usual, each night they picked an amateur drummer from the crowd.

The festival introduced an installment plan for this year’s festival goers.

That started in September and must be paid off by music fans in April. However, direct ticket purchases are still very popular.

Other artists announced for Stradbally from September 1 to 3 are: Billie Eilish, Lewis Capaldi and Fred Again. Singer Mullingar and One Direction alumnus Niall Horan, Rick Astley and 1980s pop favorites Jamie xx will also take the stage. The festival is scheduled to take place from September 1 to 3.
