The Late Show was canceled after presenter Stephen Colbert tested positive for Covid

Stephen Colbert joked he caught Covid-19 to avoid an interview with Ozark actor Jason Bateman when The Late Show was cancelled.
The comedian, 57, said he feels “fundamentally good” and is grateful to have been vaccinated and to have had his booster shot.
Ozark stars Bateman and Laura Linney were set to guest-star on Thursday’s show alongside Veep actor Matt Walsh, it was reported.
Yes! I tested positive for Covid but basically I’m fine – grateful to be vaccinated and strengthened. Thank you for the good wishes. That just goes to show that I’ll do whatever it takes to avoid interviewing Jason Bateman. https://t.co/Vf5Ws5WVcE
