The leaked Overwatch 2 trailer features a brand new character: Sojourn

Uh oh, it looks like a gameplay video for one of the new Overwatch 2 characters has been leaked ahead of time. It looks like the trailer, which was first reported by VGC today, was accidentally leaked to Taiwan’s official YouTube channel ahead of its scheduled release date.

While it was quickly mined, skilled internet warriors managed to snag it before it crashed, giving us all an early glimpse of what this new Canadian character can do in exciting multiplayer matches.

Speaking of which, what’s Sojourn’s deal? Well, judging by the video, she’s packing a railgun with two different firing modes: one that fires rapid-fire projectiles, while the other unleashes a gigantic explosion that deals massive damage all at once. Not only that, Sojourn has a special slide ability that lets you duck under enemy attacks while looking stylish.

Also, Sojourn appears to have a large AEO projectile that deals damage to anyone caught inside. Fun fact, she shoots it from a slick robotic arm if you watch the animation in the trailer. In fact, it’s revealed at the beginning of the trailer and addressed throughout that Sojourn packs a lot of robotic enhancements all over her body, making me 100% want to play her when the game eventually releases.

Speaking of which, a lucky few will be able to play Sojourn earlier than most, as the multiplayer closed beta is slated to go live later this month, on April 26th. It’s clear that an English version of this leaked trailer will likely be out before then, so if you want to go back and get a closer look at Sojourn you shouldn’t have to wait long.
