The Left Wing: The Johnny Sexton Debate, Ireland’s Serenity Problem and the New Zealand View

blank

On this week’s episode of The Left Wing, Will Slattery and Luke Fitzgerald are joined by the New Zealand Herald’s Cian Tracey and Liam Napier to cover the latest news from the Ireland tour.

The boys initially discuss whether Johnny Sexton should start in the second test against the All Blacks or whether Joey Carbery should be given the nod with the 2023 World Cup in mind.

The chat moves to reasons to be positive ahead of the Dunedin game and areas where Ireland could improve and trouble the All Blacks.

Liam Napier then joins Luke and Will to provide the New Zealand view and says that while the All Blacks played well in the first Test, they won’t be complacent ahead of this weekend.
