The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been rated by the ESRB

THE Legend of Zelda is one of the most popular game series and the latest entry has now been rated by the ESRB.
This is a significant milestone and means anyone who has “Zelda is Delayed” on their 2023 bingo card will be disappointed.
ESRB ratings usually come late in a game’s development, and this essentially confirms that Tears of the Kingdom will be released in 2023.
This was originally pointed out by a Twitter user Genkiwhich is linked to the rating of the game official store page.
Of course, Tears of the Kingdom was already announced for May 12, 2023, but with the game having been delayed multiple times since it was originally announced, some fans were still skeptical.

Tears of the Kingdom acts as a direct sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which was heralded as one of the best games of all time upon release.
The new open-world take on the Zelda formula allowed the player to go in any direction right from the start and complete any challenge they wanted, including the game’s final boss.
Tears of the Kingdom seems to offer a similar level of freedom, with gameplay split between sections that take place on floating islands in the sky and on the ground.
Link will rebuild the civilization of Hyrule in this new adventure, and we’re all incredibly excited to see more from the game in early 2023.
