The Master, the Daleks and the Cybermen will all appear together in the BBC’s upcoming special Doctor Who centenary episode.
First look at the anniversary special has also revealed that two Doctor’s companions from previous eras of the show will be reprising their roles for the first time since leaving the show.
The anniversary special, which will air later this year, will also mark Jodie Whittaker’s final appearance as Time Lord, a role she has played since 2017.
Showrunner Chris Chibnall said, “Jodie’s final feature-length story is packed with a wealth of treats and surprises for audiences and fans, not least the return of two of the most beloved companions in the show’s history.
“You will help the Doctor fight her deadliest enemies on three fronts: the Master, Daleks and Cybermen, in one massive story.
“To mark the BBC’s centenary, we celebrate the past, present and future of Doctor Who in a suitably suspenseful, epic and emotional farewell to the thirteenth Doctor.”
This special will be the first time the Doctor’s three classic antagonists have all appeared in a single story since the show returned to BBC One in 2005.
The Master, played by Sacha Dhawan, last appeared in the final episode of the 12th series The Timeless Children.
Actress Janet Fielding will also return as Tegan Jovanka, companion of the Fourth and Fifth Doctors, while Sophie Aldred will reprise her role as Ace – companion of the Seventh Doctor.

Fielding said, “In some ways it was a very different experience than when I finished recording in 1983, but in many ways it was very similar.
“It was so nice to be a working member of the Doctor Who family again.”
Aldred added: “It was quite a challenge to keep such a big secret, even from my family, and I couldn’t be more excited and excited to be asked back.
“I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I loved being part of the Tardis team again.”
Whittaker announced in July that she was leaving the BBC sci-fi drama after three specials.
Showrunner Chibnall will also leave the program to be replaced by Russell T. Davies, who was behind the show’s 2005 revival.
