The Mega Millions jackpot is now over $1 billion after no one won the draw

A massive Mega Millions lottery jackpot rose to $1.02 billion after no one matched all six numbers to win the grand prize on Tuesday night.

The newly estimated jackpot will be the fourth largest lottery win in the nation.

The jackpot has gotten so big because nobody has picked the six selected numbers of the game since April 15th. That’s 29 consecutive draws without a big winner.

Tuesday’s numbers were: 07-29-60-63-66, Mega Ball: 15.

The $1.02 billion prize is for winners who choose the annuity option, which is paid annually over 30 years.

Most winners are opting for the cash option, which is estimated to be worth $602.5 million for Friday night’s next draw.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302.5 million.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states plus Washington, DC and the US Virgin Islands. The game is coordinated by state lotteries.
