The mystery of the mother (45) who disappeared during a business conference call

Walk your dog, have a coffee, go for a jog: all normal activities done daily with minimal problems.
However, for mother-of-two Nicola Bulley, a walk along the River Wyre has become a considerable mystery, sparking a missing persons inquiry after the 45-year-old disappeared off Garstang Road in the village of St Michael’s on Wyre and just left was her spaniel.
She was last seen on Friday January 27th.
Emergency teams including Lancashire Fire and Rescue, the Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team and the North West Underwater Search Team have joined the investigation, while Lancashire Police have urged a “potentially important witness” to come forward.
An unidentified man, aged around 70, white, 6ft tall, well built, walking a small white fluffy dog on a leash, is believed to have been in the area around the time Ms Bulley disappeared.
Ms Bulley’s partner Paul Ansell, speaking from the family home in Inskip, Lancashire, said he spent all Sunday looking for the mother-of-two.
The engineer, who has been in a relationship with Ms Bulley for 12 years, said: “It’s just eternal hell. It’s just utter disbelief.
“We’re going through this, but it doesn’t feel real.
“All we can say is that we must find her. She has two little girls who need their mom at home.
“We must have good news now.”
Ms Bulley has been missing for five days since the morning of January 27, when she was walking her brown spaniel after 9.15am.
Police have released an appeal describing the mother’s physical appearance: a 1.6m tall white woman with light brown shoulder length hair wearing a long black hooded vest, black jeans and olive green rubber boots. Her hair was in a ponytail.
Still, it’s unclear where Ms. Bulley might be.
Just weeks before the disappearance, the mother-of-two took to social media, describing the walk along the River Wyre as “creepy”.
She said: “A very misty cold walk this morning, not a day to forget your gloves! A little creepy too! But I prepared for the day and Willow had the best time.”
Her disappearance became even more mysterious: Ms Bulley’s mobile phone was found on a bench, still connected to a work conference.
Superintendent Sally Riley said that mirror Police found Nicolas’ still active phone on the bench and immediately began searching for her.
Supt Riley said: “It was a meeting call and that was still live, it was connected to the conference call and that hadn’t ended.”
According to Superintendent Riley, there is still no evidence of criminal activity or that Nicola was assaulted.
She added: “There are no reports of anything like this, but obviously all scenarios are tested and verified, but since there was nothing to suggest anything criminal was going on, there was absolutely nothing to suggest she was attacked.”
Ben Pociecha, the director of Exclusively Mortgages, where Ms Bulley works, said The Telegraph that she had signed in for a team meeting at 9:01 am on Friday, the day of her disappearance.
“It seems like she was muted and didn’t turn on her camera. She listened as she walked her dog,” he said.
“There were a lot of parties involved. Many people took part in the call. The police are investigating the call.”
Ch Insp Chris Barton, of Lancashire Police, said: “Firstly, if anyone saw her on Friday morning and has not yet been approached by police, or if anyone has any other information as to where she may be staying, please get in touch with us connected immediately.
“Investigations are ongoing and we have a team of detectives working tirelessly to establish the circumstances of her disappearance, in addition to a large team of police officers, partner agencies and local volunteer groups searching the area where she was last found Was seen .
“We are pursuing a number of lines of inquiry and at this stage remain open to what happened.
“We appreciate that there is a great deal of concern in the area and that people want to help, but ask that no one puts themselves at risk.
“If anyone has any questions or concerns, they are welcome to speak to officials in the area.”
