The Netflix Geeked Week ’22 trailer reveals more of the Sandman’s gods and monsters

After initially launching last year, Netflix has made its Geeked Week show an annual event, featuring upcoming movies and shows. While we’re still a few weeks away from the 2022 exhibition, a new teaser trailer for the week of reveals and announcements definitely makes it seem like the wait will be worth it.

Over the course of the five days of Geeked Week, Netflix will showcase more than 60 different projects currently in development, including The Umbrella Academythird season, stranger things 4, resident Eviland Cyberpunk: Edgerunner. In addition to these series, the new trailer for Geeked Week offers some new insights into Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Neil Gaimans The Sandman with Tom Sturridge as Dream and Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer. Since Netflix has so much planned for Geeked Week, the streamer has wisely chosen to dedicate each day to the event of different types of content: episodic series, followed by movies, animations, a whole day dedicated stranger thingsand finally, a look at some of Netflix’s upcoming games.
