The new design looks different from ANY Apple phone we’ve ever seen

APPLE can finally get rid of the “notch” at the top of the iPhone – and offer an all-screen front.

It’s part of the rumored iPhone change that will make it look different from the 2021 model.

Apple's iPhone 14 can finally prevent the notch

All recent Apple phones have a “notch”, which sticks out at the top of the screen and houses the selfie camera and Face ID face-scanning sensor.

It was first added to the iPhone X in 2017, when Apple’s full-screen design was introduced.

Initially, Apple was mocked by many for its design, although the company was copied by Android rivals soon after.

However, many competitors – Samsung and Huawei – have abandoned this design.

It is now possible to embed fingerprint and face scanners below the display.

And the current developer and developer @Dylankt on Twitter suggests that will be the case with the iPhone 14.

“I can attest to the information regarding the punching of the professional iPhone 14 models”, the leaker explain.

“The Face ID hardware will be placed under the display.

“As a reassurance to any concerns, the functionality of these sensors is not negatively affected by this change.”

The design is said to include a pill-shaped hole on the front of the device for the selfie camera.

It means that Apple will finally be able to have a truly full-screen front panel on the next iPhone.

This is not the first time we have heard of such a rumor.

Renowned TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has hinted that we will see a bezel-less iPhone 14.

And so did longtime Apple leaker and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 14 in September this year.

We expect to see at least four models, including the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The 2021 iPhone 13 introduced rather minor upgrades over the previous year.

So it is expected that in 2022 iPhone 14 will have significant changes.

Of course, Apple has yet to confirm anything.
