It was created by Informe Laboratories, a developer who also released the popular ToonMe service.

It’s all a bit fun, although experts have warned that the app could suck up users’ data.

The Sun ran some celebs’ faces through the app to see what they would look like in the world of toons.

David Beckham, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and even the Queen look stunning in their illustrations.

What is NewProfilePic?

The app is available in over 100 countries and in up to 10 different languages.

On the app’s “About” page, the developers challenged its users “to be different with a profile picture that reflects your current mood.”

They also claimed that their service uses the latest AI technology.

In the Apple Store, the app has already received hundreds of reviews and a rating of 4.8 stars.

At the time of publication, only one out of 844 reviews was negative, with the user denouncing the app as “slow.”

All other users, on the other hand, raved about the application, saying they were “already obsessed” and “in love”.

How to download the app

The application is free and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Users can also fully access the app via the website link – found here.

How to use the app

First you need to download the app or go to the website.

Next, you need to select and upload an image from your photo library.

Once your image is uploaded, you can cycle through a variety of filters and photo effects.

Picture styles include cartoon effects, art effects, and toony filters.

Simply select the style you want, click Done and download your image.

The app claims that it constantly updates its styles, so users can “come back” at any time.

As always, users should do their due diligence to understand an app’s privacy policy before downloading it.

A few users on Twitter have also claimed the app is based in Russia and a phishing scam – although these reports are currently unconfirmed.
