The Outriders Worldslayer expansion adds a new campaign, new subclasses, and a new endgame

In a special presentation today, People Can Fly and Square Enix have no envy destroyer of the worldthe new extension is coming pioneer on June 30th.

Worldslayer was teased late last year when People Can Fly released the free New Horizon update. However, unlike this one, Worldslayer is a paid expansion that will be released on all platforms that Outriders is currently available on.

The main addition to Worldslayer is the new campaign chapter, which will take us to entirely new locations, debut new enemies and variants, and explore what happened to the world of Enoch after the events of the main game. While the new campaign is intended for level 30 players, Worldslayer owners will receive a free level boost if they choose to jump straight to the new content.

Equally exciting is the arrival of a new skill tree, unlocking two new subclasses (paths) for each of Outriders’ existing character archetypes. The new skill tree lets you unlock the power of Enoch’s native people, the PAX. You earn these skill points by playing the new content.

Worldslayer is a very endgame-centric expansion, as it introduces a number of new features that should bring plenty of replayability to players who have quickly exhausted the original version’s (flawed) expeditions.

First, there’s an all-new repeatable endgame activity: the Trial of Tarya Gratar. People Can Fly didn’t reveal much about it today, but promised to cover more about the launch of Worldslayer. Then there’s the new Ascension leveling, which is similar to Diablo 3’s Paragon levels in that it offers small stat boosts across the board as part of a long-term post-game progression system consisting of 200 levels.

Finally, you can look forward to the new Apocalypse stages, which merge world stages and challenge stages from the main game into something new for Worldslayer. Apocalypse Stages replace Expedition Challenge Stages, but you can still switch back to World Stages for the original main game campaign. In fact, the Apocalypse Tiers will function as the New Game Plus of the original campaign.

The new tiers also unlock access to their own Apocalypse-exclusive gear, which notably has three mod slots. You can also expect plenty of new armor sets, weapons, and mods to earn as you progress through the story.

Existing Outriders owners can purchase Worldslayer, but new players can get both in one bundle. The Outriders Worldslayer expansion adds a new campaign, new subclasses, and a new endgame
