A young couple who got engaged on the Parklife stage have been told by the festival boss he will pay for their honeymoon after they were attacked by cruel trolls.

Indy Geraghty, 23, and Myles Goodfellow, 25, had been enjoying the festival with a VIP pass when “Milo” stunned fans and his girlfriend by falling to one knee during rapper Yung Filly’s performance on the main stage.

The rapper and the crowd erupted in cheers when Indy said yes amid tears of joy in front of a crowd of 80,000 on Saturday June 11 at Heaton Park, Manchester.

Clips of the incredible engagement soon went viral – but the couple, from Galashiels in the Scottish Borders, have been plagued by online trolls ever since.

Parklife boss Sacha Lord claimed he was furious to discover the gruesome abuse the couple had been subjected to and has even offered to pay for their honeymoon to cheer them up.

“Then you wake up and you look at social media and a lot of people sitting in their mother’s back room hiding behind fake profiles and writing nasty comments.
