Philly McMahon joins Sinéad Kissane and Conor McKeon on this week’s Throw-in for a look back at major football action and with a fourth straight Dubs loss the big talking point.
It’s not too easy and too lazy to blame the manager or the players he told Sinéad when trying to explain Dubs’ defeat to Kildare.
“It’s complicated, it’s the collective mindset shift needed right now. I think there has to be a change in you knowing that this is what you’ve been given about information from the outside on the pitch, so what I’m saying is basically in a nutshell, players. showing what they’re thinking, right? Basically, you are what you think.”
The board also discussed other Division 1 games including Mayo and Kerry taking the lead while looking ahead to Dubs’ next game against Tyrone, which is a battle Philly says he will enjoy and must is a challenge to stimulate players.
Meanwhile, John Mullane was on the show to look back at the weekend’s hurdles action and he was excited by Cork’s performance as they beat Limerick.
“It was the first time I really thought about myself, Cork, back when Ó’hAilpín and Gardiner, the Rock, the team we were up against, it was the first time I told myself that the Cork team was real. business significance. They’ve been knocking on doors for the past couple of years, they’ve been to the All-Ireland finals last year, but if you’re a Cork supporter who woke up this morning, you’ll be thrilled with what you’ve seen today. yesterday and I thought they were awesome. ”
Plus, Mullane and McKeon discuss Dublin’s win over Tipp manager Mattie Kenny the level of consistency he is looking for from his team, while Wexford is also coming in with three wins from father.
