The Queen’s funeral in pictures: Tears shed as Britain misses Queen Elizabeth II

That queen will be reunited with her late husband Prince Philip when she is buried after a historic state funeral.

King Charles III and his siblings marched behind their mother’s coffin as it made the short journey from Westminster Hall, where the Queen lay in state for four days, to the old abbey.

Two of the Queen’s great-grandchildren, Prince George, aged nine, and his sister Princess Charlotte, seven, joined their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, for the state funeral.
