The 240-year-old horse-drawn coach is getting what insiders describe as an MoT-style once-over, 20 years because it final appeared on London’s streets.
Consultants are finishing up checks on the 24ft four-ton Georgian-era carriage to make sure it’s in tip-top form for the festivities marking 70 years on the throne.
