The Red Line Festival returns to celebrate all things literary

The Red Line Festival returns next month for its 11th anniversary, with more than 40 events in venues across Dublin south, appealing to all ages.

his celebration of Ireland’s great literary heritage runs from 13th to 16th October and includes events at Rathfarnham Castle, the Pearse Museum and Baldonnel Aerodrome, as well as City and Branch Libraries across South Dublin County.

The Red Line Festival is a celebration of all things literary – spoken, written, sung, acted, illustrated or just thought.

This year’s festival expands beyond books to include other cultural currents such as sport, music and theater to ensure there is something for everyone

Organized by South Dublin Libraries and Arts at South Dublin County Council, the festival offers a program of events and workshops that appeal to all ages, from children to adults and casual readers to bookworms. The Red Line Festival returns to celebrate all things literary
