The RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg Kickstarter lets community votes choose some included cards

The Kickstarter campaign for the game doesn’t start until May 31st, but Steamforged Games gives us a look at the pledge tiers for the upcoming game RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg table game. Since it is an extension of the RuneScape IP you’ll find quests, bosses, lore, and an official way community votes determine some of the final content released.
If you just want the board game and exclusive Kickstarter content, the Core tier is $80, a discount off the retail price. Expect a 15 hour replayable game in Gielinor with over 400 cards and 16 miniatures RuneScape for the first time in this format. The Kickstarter Exclusive Content is a set of exclusive cards and the Culinaromancer expansionwhich comes with the Culinaromancer boss campaign and the Noob NPC.
One tier up (Gameplay All-In $150) you get the core box, all that Kickstarter content, and a total of four expansions. The Deluxe All-In Pledge tier costs $195 and includes all of the above content, plus a playmat, four boss mats, wooden tokens, metal coins, and a special edition dice set.
Now for the part where the voices of the community are poured in to influence how the game will look like, Stoneforged is calling it an “open world adventure”. Each day throughout the 10 days of the campaign, voting will be taken on which path to take, unlocking exclusive maps for the Kickstarter tiers. These cards are included in all levels that include the game. This is a great way to encourage early donations as you can vote each day throughout the campaign and a sign of how much impact the community has had RuneScape over the years.
See the announcement over at Steamforged Games for more details.
