The social media millionaire star has a £1m McLaren supercar SEIZED after it stopped on Kent Road without insurance

A star on social media MILLIONAIRE has had his golden McLaren supercar seized by police after it was driven without insurance.

Pooyan Mokhtari, who boasts nearly six million followers on Instagram, saw his £1million Senna motorcycle swept over by traffic officers after being stopped in Dover on February 25 .

The 31-year-old Iranian influencer, believed to be worth £10m, “wasn’t able to” sort out the insurance on the car – leaving it covered in dust in a Kent recall.

It is understood that the eye-catching motorcycle was driven to the Channel Tunnel and shipped to Milan by the time it was stopped.

The McLaren, boasting a top speed of 208mph, was so low that officers had to drive it away instead of asking for a recovery truck.

A source said: “Police can’t believe they have seized an uninsured seven-figure car on the road.

“The owner won’t be insured if he deletes it.

“The McLaren wouldn’t be healthy enough to get into a recovery lorry without causing thousands of pounds of damage to the undercarriage.

“Employees drove it to a local nick before going to a recall, where the vehicle sat for over a week before it was finally received.”

Mokhtari sent a truck to pick up the car on Sunday and immediately transport it to Paris, where he posed with it in front of the Eiffel Tower today.

Kent Police said yesterday evening: “At around 6pm on Friday 25 February, officers at Channel Tunnel Terminal stopped an uninsured vehicle.

“The driver had the opportunity to arrange insurance for the vehicle but was unable to do so and the vehicle was therefore seized.”
