The Stalker 2 hype is rising, new trailer, pre-orders available and PC specs in detail

Stalker 2 developer GSC World has released a new trailer for its upcoming shooter, with pre-orders for the game available again (they were originally refunded in the second half of 2022).
The trailer in question, which begins with a poignant reminder that this game was made in Ukraine, can be seen below. While we don’t yet have a firm release date for Stalker 2, the developer is again promising a 2023 launch as part of the trailer’s official description.
In addition to that, we also have the PC requirements for Stalker 2. They are as follows:

Pre-order the Stalker 2 Digital Standard Edition and get the game, expanded Campfire content, an exclusive weapon and armor skin, and an Early Bird multiplayer badge. There will also be Steam exclusive content that includes a dynamic theme, animated avatar, and avatar frame. All of this will set you back £49.99.

The Deluxe Digital Edition includes the game, the same bonuses and Steam Exclusives as the Standard Edition, plus a digital artbook, the official soundtrack of Stalker 2, an additional side quest that has a “unique storyline separate from the main quest” , a new costume and three weapon skins for the single player campaign and two costumes and three weapon skins for the multiplayer experience This edition will cost you £64.99.

Finally, on the digital side, we have the Ultimate Edition. This version also comes with the game, as well as all the previously mentioned digital bonuses. What sets this edition apart is that it includes more character and weapon skins, as well as two story expansions and a season pass that allows owners to get their hands on all the DLCs after release. It all costs £94.99

In addition to the digital sales, there are also four physical versions of the game to choose from. These are Standard, Limited, Collector’s and Ultimate.
The standard edition comes with the same pre-order bonuses as the standard digital edition, plus a steelbook, letter from the Stalker 2 developers, souvenir zone permit, and sticker pack.

The Limited Edition version of the game includes all of the above, plus a zone map, Stalker 2 poster, faction patches, military token, and multi-tool keychain.

With the Collector’s Edition, buyers of this version get all of the above plus an additional artbook and stalker figure.

Last but not least we have the Ultimate Physical Edition of the game. In addition to the above, this version of the game also comes with an Artefact container lamp and a stalker backpack.

As previously mentioned, there is no specific launch date for Stalker 2 just yet. However, recent rumors suggest it will be sometime in the first six months of this year. When it arrives, it will come to Xbox Series X/S and PC, as well as Game Pass.
