The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is coming to PC and consoles later this month

The Parable of Stanley: Ultra Deluxean expanded version of the 2013 first-person exploration game, was released in late April.

In case you are unfamiliar with the game, The Stanley Parable stars a naïve person named Stanley who one day discovers that his officemates have mysteriously disappeared.

Determined to find answers to the disappearance, you interact with environmental elements such as buttons and doors. There is no combat or other action-based gameplay.

The story is told by a narrator (Kevan Brighting) who explains that Stanley is employee 427 and is tasked with monitoring data coming off a computer screen. His job is to push buttons without question. One day the screen surveillance data goes blank, so Stanley starts exploring the building. He finds out that the job has been given up.

Here the story unfolds with different possibilities based on your decisions. You can choose to follow the narrator’s advice or do the opposite. If you do the opposite of what the narrator suggests, the narrator will try to put you back on the target path to continue the story of the missing office workers. However, if you keep contradicting the narrator, the story will adjust.

The ultra-deluxe version keeps everything that was in the original Stanley Parable just as it was in 2013. But it also expands the world of the original with new content, new choices, and new mysteries.

In addition, the game has been visually enhanced while faithfully maintaining the tone of the original. Accessibility features have also been added to the game, including localization of in-world text, colorblind options, and content warnings.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe will be released on April 27th for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is coming to PC and consoles later this month
