The stars made a stylish appearance as Shay Given’s sister Jacqueline married public Alan Clancy

Many of Ireland’s most famous celebrities and sports stars gathered in Clare on Friday for the public wedding of Alan Clancy and his longtime partner, Jacqueline, sister of the legendary goalkeeper who Irish Shay Given.

lan and Jacqueline were married at St Joseph’s Church in the seaside town of Miltown Malbay in Co Clare, attended by family, friends and a number of famous faces.

Jacqueline is the sister of Shay Given and the former Irish goalkeeper was present with teammate Becky Gibson.

The reception was held in Doonbeg, where groom Alan hosted a reception with his good friend Shane Lowry at Trump International Links before the wedding, along with Brian Ormond and other guests.

Alan and Lowry recently opened The Old Warehouse in Tullamore in a joint venture, while Alan also owns dozens of pubs and businesses across Ireland, such as House on Leeson Street. Shane and his wife, Wendy, were bullied.

Brian Dowling and husband Arthur Gourounlian, a judge on Dance with the Stars, also attended, while former Galway hurdler Joe Canning was also spotted in Doonbeg for the wedding ceremony.

Pippa O’Connor, Nadia Forde, Laurence Kinlan were spotted at the celebration while musical entertainment was provided by Coronas frontman Danny O’Reilly.

Visitors can also watch the fireworks display at night.
