The Sussex countryside is blanketed in a blanket of fog
Fog blanketed much of rural Sussex including Bury Hill near Arundel and Pulborough.
Drone images showed homes amid thick fog and the tops of hills peeking through a blanket of fog.
A yellow weather warning has been issued for parts of Sussex as fog remained thick until 11am.
The Met Office warned of slower travel times with possible delays on bus and train services and the possibility of flight delays and cancellations.

A Met Office spokeswoman said: “Freezing patches of fog are likely to spread further around dawn on Wednesday, particularly along river valleys and across eastern and southern England, with visibility as low as 50 to 100 meters in some places. ”
The warning has now been lifted, but with persistently low temperatures, motorists are being advised to exercise caution in their journeys throughout the day.
