The ten best holiday spots in Spain… but Barcelona is NOT on the list

AN EXCLUSIVE Ibiza hotel in a stunning bay has been crowned the best value holiday resort in Spain – but Barcelona doesn’t even make the top ten.

The Palladium Hotel Cala Llonga is an adults-only, all-inclusive hotel in a beautiful location with a gorgeous beach and crystal-clear waters.

The hotel is ranked number one for best value for money out of 62 Spanish resorts on Tripadvisor, a list of stunning destinations.

However, holidaymakers may be surprised to learn that the iconic city of Barcelona does not feature in the top ten at all.

In fact, beach vacations seem to have beaten city breaks across the board.

Sister islands Mallorca and smaller Menorca dominate the list, along with Ibiza and Gran Canaria both securing two spots.

Here are the top ten vacation spots recommended by Tripadvisor.

1. Palladium Hotel Cala Llonga

Nestled in the green hills of Ibiza, Cala Llonga Bay offers a stunning white sand beach.
