BRITS who want to live like royalty can make that wish come true with some of the best castles in all of Britain to spend the night at.
With more people looking to staycations for a post-pandemic trip, Airbnb has compiled a list of the most popular castle accommodations in the UK.
The forthcoming bank holiday weekend for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is expected to result in a huge surge in demand for these royal properties.
One of the most popular castles to rent on Airbnb is The Tower of Thornton Castle in Aberdeenshire, Craster tower in Alnwick, Yannon Towers at Teignmouth, and Kinnettle’s mansion in Fife.
The Scottish county of Fife is also home to Dairsie Castle with site host Etsuko saying, “As an Airbnb host, it’s amazing to see guests exploring the castle.
“It is such a unique historic building and it is wonderful that it is still filled with laughter from family and friends today.”

Guests Stay at Dairsie Castle can explore the property’s two acres including a woodland walk to the River Eden, an orchard, a watchtower and an indoor playroom with board games and books to keep everyone entertained.

The Country Castle sleeps up to 22 guests in 11 individually designed bedrooms.
For smaller groups the romantic medieval ‘mini castle’ Barns Tower in Peebles, Scotland, sleeps up to four guests.
