The top 5 MMORPGs on Google Play (by total downloads)
Whether you’re an avid mobile gamer or don’t play them at all, you might be surprised to learn that the Google Play Store is home to more than 250 MMORPGs. It can be really difficult to navigate through everything available and see what other players have been playing. That’s why we’ve compiled this list of the five most downloaded MMORPGs on the Play Store.
Every MMORPG on this list has at least 10 million or more downloads on Google’s App Store alone, and some of these games are even cross-platform. It’s important to understand that we’re basing this list on total downloads, so of course some of these games are a bit older, and these numbers may not give an indication of how active players are now. However, it’s still remarkable to see what tops the MMORPG total download charts in 2022. This list ranks them from lowest user score to highest, so let’s dive in and try them out.

Available online originally released in 2013 and touted as having exceptional graphics and action-packed battles. It was actually claimed that the graphics were second to none back then, and back then it was probably true. Now, almost a decade later, the game doesn’t look quite as advanced as some of the newer MMORPGs available on mobile, but the graphics have aged better than some other games in the last decade. available is one of the few mobile games where players will experience truly massive battles with Tower War, a 1000 player PvP match. At the beginning of the game, players have the choice to play 9 base classes with over 80 advanced class options.
available has extensive auto-play features like auto-pathing and auto-battle, which in many ways can feel like an idle game, but developer Asobimo has added enough here to keep players interested. After all this time and almost 470,000 reviews, available still managed a 4.2 rating on Android and a 4.5 rating on iOS. You can play too available on PC, as the game finally released its PC port in October 2021.
School of Chaos Online
Developer: VNL Entertainment Ltd. | User rating: 4.3 out of 5.0 | 518,000 user reviews
School of Chaos Online is a really weird game. Sometimes craziness is enough to draw curious gamers into the fray, and with over 10 million downloads on the Play Store, a 4.3 rating for Android and a 4.5 rating for iOS, it’s clear that craziness can pay off. In School of Chaos You start your journey in a school, you guessed it. The teachers have disappeared and were probably eaten by zombies. Now the children, meaning you and all the other players, run the school. If that wasn’t enough to keep you hooked, maybe some of the other game features could. In School of Chaosyou can make your own quests for other players, buy pets and train them to fight with you, upgrade your equipment and travel a very large school-inspired 3D landscape.
Few games can pack an entire MMORPG into a school-sized world, but VNL Entertainment did it. The game is actively updated and edited, along with the sequel game city of chaos. However, if you’re looking for something really crazy where you can equip your character with foam swords and origami throwing stars, this might just be the game for you.
