A waitress has gone viral on TikTok and shows how she prepares a specially designed coffee with a message for a “fit” customer, sparking much debate about a possible romance.

Sophie Hosking, 23, who works at Edinburgh’s Grams cafe, said a certain male customer used to come into her shop and one day she tried to get his attention, the reported daily record.

She started her TikTok video by asking if anyone knew him, and went on to joke that she wanted to “take my shot.”

Sophie has now racked up over 21 million views and two million likes on the app after posting her romantic gesture and showing off her artistic skills.

She gave him a coffee that said “cute.”

She decided to let her client know he was “fit” by giving him a coffee with the word “fit” written on the foam.

In the video, she writes: “Does anyone know this guy? He always comes to my work and I think he’s so cute.

“I want to take my shot.”

Sophie then makes him a decaffeinated drink and uses foam to write “You’re cute” with a little heart on it.

In the footage, her hands are shaking as she accepts the coffee, but she is filled with relief when she sees him take a picture of the drink.

The video ends with Sophie promising an update and in a second clip she reveals that she has the man’s number.

In an unexpected twist, she then finds out that he’s been taking photos of all the coffees she’s made him for the past few months.

Sophie confirms the pair are texting now, but has yet to reveal if a first date is on the horizon.

Other social media users have supported the romance and are desperate for a happy ending.

One user said, “If that were me, I’d buy a wedding ring the moment I saw that.”

Another wrote: “Girls there’s a reason he keeps coming back! Much luck.”

A third added: “This is like a Disney movie.”

And one person said, “I’m so happy for you both and I hope it’s the start of many happier years.”
