Since its inception in 2010, The Ethical Silk Company has built a reputation for its exquisite mulberry silk nightwear and pillowcases. The Irish brand is also becoming known for its sample sales, where customers can find serious bargains on second and imperfect items. The last one runs through January 31st with three discounted tiers: 30 piece discount on unpaired pieces/items that are dry cleaned only; 50 off items with minor imperfections and 70 off items with minor imperfections. Any flaws are minimal and, according to owner Eva Power, are “hard to spot unless you’re really looking for them”.

Well-made children’s fashion can be passed on and passed on. That’s the ethos of Síológ (Irish for seedling), a one-stop shop for sustainable baby and children’s clothing – all sourced from independent Irish brands. Founded by the twins’ mother, Susan Grant, the Irish online store offers a vibrant range of quality children’s clothing, as well as bath and skincare products and gifts. We love the Welcome to the World gift boxes, they are a beautiful way to welcome a newcomer. The Blue Woodland gift box (€80) includes brands such as Babyboo, Fauna Kids, Stork & Co and Bread & Weather.
