Would you like to see Connemara from a different angle? Fourth generation fisherman Damien O’Malley’s new cruises depart from Roundstone Harbor and take in the beaches of Gurteen and Dog’s Bay, Ervallagh Harbor and the deserted island of Inishlacken. On board the 21-foot boat “Benbaun”, seafarers can expect dolphins, sunfish, otters and basking sharks in addition to an incredible landscape. A 1-hour tour for up to five people costs €100, or you can literally push the boat out with the 3-hour Catch & Cook experience (€450), where you can pull crab and lobster pots before a sit-down feast of seafood and bubbly at Ervallagh. roundstonebayandisland.ie

Designed in Dublin and manufactured to the highest ethical standards in Jaipur, they combine the soft touch of silk with a chic matte finish. theethicalsilkco.com

The two fields, one hosted by Joe Mahon of Scalp Wood Nurseries, Kilternan and the other by Charles Tottenham near Ballinahinch, Ashford, are open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm (weather permitting) without prior notice .
