The world’s largest monster truck has four air-conditioned bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom – this is where you will find it

THE world’s largest monster truck includes four air-conditioned bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom.
And it belongs to Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan – a member of one of the UAE’s ruling families, the Al Nahyan clan.
Sheikh Hamad holds the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of 4×4 vehicles, with 718 models.
And he’s earned the nickname “Rainbow Sheikh” because he owns seven different-colored Mercedes S-Classes.
He is a billionaire with considerable influence in Abu Dhabi and known for his eccentric spending habits.
One of the most curious vehicles in his collection is a replica Dodge Power Wagon pickup truck from the 1950s – the largest truck in the world.
But Sheikh rebuilt this vehicle and it is now six times larger than its counterpart and weighs over fifty tons.
Shockingly, the wheels are from an oil rig truck and the windshield wipers are from an ocean liner.
The headlights on this truck cost him a whopping £1,000.
It is fully equipped with a large kitchen, air-conditioned bedrooms, bathroom and lounge with all mod cons and a patio area to the rear.
Surprisingly, this pickup truck isn’t a static exhibit; it actually drives.
It’s powered by a Detroit Diesel straight-6 that produces 300 hp, which is enough to move the gargantuan vehicle and is legal to drive in Abu Dhabi.
The Rainbow Sheik loves this pickup because it was used by oil explorers in the 1950s.
The world’s largest pickup is currently on display at the Emirates National Museum.
