Theatrical releases see Kit Harington as Henry V for the first time

Donmar Warehouse has released the first images of Game Of Thrones star Kit Harington playing Henry V at the cinema in Covent Garden, London.
arington, known for playing Jon Snow on the hit HBO fantasy series, is leading the cast in the “modern” take on the Shakespearean classic.
In a recent interview with the Guardian, Harington admitted there was a part of him trying to escape the Game Of Thrones comparison when he played the former King of England.
“There’s an element that makes me always try to stay away from that comparison, but at the same time, you wouldn’t, so why try?
“A large portion of the audience that comes to see it will be fans of that show, and that’s a great thing,” he said.
Harington, who has struggled with alcoholism and depression in the past, added that the play turned out to be more personal than he expected and it was a way of “casting out the devil”.
The 35-year-old beauty is co-starring Gangs Of London actor Jude Akuwudike, Line Of Duty’s Claire-Louise Cordwell and Melissa Johns – who appeared in BBC One’s drama Life.
The theatrical production – described as a study of nationalism, war and the psychology of power – is directed by Donmar deputy director Max Webster.

The Donmar warehouse in London welcomed back patrons for the first time last September since the first national shutdown.
It has been renovated to significantly improve the accessibility of the venue, the theater previously announced.
The play, which explores Britain’s relationship with Europe, will run until April 9.
