There is a secret WhatsApp button on your iPhone that unlocks hidden features

THERE IS a hidden iPhone menu that gives you quick access to some of WhatsApp’s most useful features.

It’s a clever trick so long iPhone Users might know about it.

The feature is called Quick Actions and it works from the home screen.

Just long press an app icon to unlock a hidden menu.

It may not work for all apps, but many apps support this feature.

And one of those apps is Whatsapp.

If you long press on WhatsApp, you will notice that several options will suddenly appear.

The first three are standard Apple Options: remove app, share app and edit home screen.

But the bottom four are WhatsApp specific features.

My QR Code is at the top of the list.

This will automatically pull your up WhatsApp QR code so you can quickly share your contact information with someone else.

It’s handy when you’ve met someone briefly and want to share information.

They can simply scan the code with their iPhone camera to add you.

The second option in the list is Camera.

It’s a quick launch option for the camera so you can capture a great moment right in WhatsApp and share it with friends, family or colleagues.

Third on the list is New Chat, which is a quick and easy way to send a message to a contact.

And finally there is the search.

This allows you Find the app and your conversations to find important information.

If you unlock this hidden menu and use it regularly, you can save a lot of time.

Another WhatsApp trick

That’s not the only WhatsApp trick you can use.

It is possible to change your WhatsApp messages to a secret monospace font.

A fixed-spaced font is a font where each letter and character occupies exactly the same amount of horizontal space.

First you need to find the backtick symbol, which looks like a backtick apostrophe. On your phone, just press and hold the apostrophe icon and it will appear.

Then place three of them before and after your message, like this: “`text goes here“`

This will monospace your message, which will definitely confuse your friends.
