Matthew Stokes, Motorcycle Insurance Specialists Insurance Manager, said: “Winter driving is challenging for many and it is not surprising that even a little bit of ice or snow can shake a person’s confidence.”
“While it’s not illegal to drive in inclement weather, drivers can suspend their policies for a number of reasons, including leaving a powered car unattended or forgetting to remove the snow from the windshield, license plate and roof.
“With cold weather and snow forecast for this winter, people should exercise great caution if they have to venture out in inclement weather and only do so if absolutely necessary.”
