Tory ministers and MPs from Boris Johnson down drool obnoxiously about rail strikes, showing this is a government ravaging Britain to divide and rule.

The PM did it with Brexit, securing No. 10 at the cost of national self-harm.

Secretary of State Liz Truss is at odds with Brussels, threatening to break international law and jeopardize stability in Northern Ireland to boost her hopes for Johnson’s successor.

Home Secretary Priti Patel’s empty plane to Rwanda is more about inciting hatred than stopping channel crossings. Chancellor Rishi Sunak is so wealthy that he is immune to the hardships he inflicts on low- and middle-income families.

Justice Secretary Dominic Raab and Attorney General Suella Braverman do not advocate rules and laws.

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps is enjoying this week’s train strikes, blasting unions and ridiculously shouting it’s Labour’s fault.

Labor are almost certain to retake Wakefield while the Lib Dems are calm about success in Devon.

Both Herbst and Johnson will come under renewed pressure from nervous Tory MPs worried about their own seats.

What is happening with the rail strike shows that this conservative government is getting off the rails and looking for scapegoats to smear and distract from its own calamities.

Desperate Tories will fight dirtier.
