This Elden Ring commercial from Thailand is an epic journey

The official promotion of Elden Ring in Thailand is a crazy live-action drama that also explains some of the game’s lore extremely effectively.

The trailer was posted by Twitter user Daniel Ahmad (below) and only shows the game progress after three minutes.

Instead, it first develops into a family drama in which Grandma’s sacred ring is destroyed, causing her family to be in turmoil. Meanwhile, a prodigal son travels home and reminisces about his childhood – which contains a surprising amount of Elden Ring references.

The “tainted” child returns home as the family fights to claim parts of the ring and saves the family from further fighting – before playing PlayStation with Grandma.

It’s a hilariously weird reworking of Elden Ring’s own story, in which a shattered ring is claimed by a series of demigods and a tarnished player comes to reclaim them and put the ring back together. Unlike the Thai commercial, there’s a lot more murder involved.

Another live-action trailer for the game was released yesterday starring actress Ming-Na Wen, and those aren’t even the weirdest Elden Ring stories to come out in the past few days.

One gamer used the Nintendo Switch’s Ring Fit controller to defeat a boss, a streamer’s twitch chat took control of the game while he slept, and he even has his own candy.

Elden Ring has dominated the gaming sphere since it launched on February 25th when it became one of the top rated games in modern history and continued to grow in popularity.

In our 10/10 review, IGN said, “Elden Ring is a massive iteration of what FromSoftware began with the Souls series, bringing its unrelentingly challenging combat to an incredible open world that gives us the freedom to create our own path.” Select.”
