Our Father: Netflix releases trailer for Donald Cline documentary

This Morning fans were left in awe on Wednesday when co-hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield interviewed the two children of notorious fertility doctor Donald Cline.

The latest Netflix true-crime drama Our Father gives viewers an insight into the truly gruesome story of fertility doctor Cline, a once respected fertility doctor from Indianapolis, USA .

He is believed to have artificially inseminated more than 50 women with his own sperm in the 1970s and 80s.

At the time the Netflix show was released, there were 94 children who fathered Cline.

Holly and Phillip remotely interviewed brothers Jason Hyatt and Jacoba Ballard in the US on Wednesday as they detailed their mental health struggles following the discovery.

“There’s a lot going on with you,” Holly said. But I guess there are other things to consider here as well.

“Once you realize that there are many and many siblings within a 25-mile radius, then I guess you run the risk of accidentally meeting a sibling, having a sibling relationship.

“Even now, 94 and going on, that list is far from over. This can still happen. Is that a very realistic thought? ”

Jacoba Ballard, a member of the team that originally figured out what Cline did, said it was “absolutely”.

She added: “Not just for siblings, but for children. Older children meet an aunt or an uncle, not just a cousin.

“We never knew when he started or when he stopped. We know he retired in 2009, so we can have siblings like 2009, 2010.”
