Take a look back at Tina O’Brien’s Corrie moments this morning

Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien beamed as she performed today This Morning.

The 38-year-old actress sat down on the iconic sofa to chat with presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary – but fans all said the same thing.

ITV opened the daytime show with a montage of the soap star, and many have been stunned by how little she has changed since she found fame as Sarah Platt on Corrie.

She landed her role on the soap at the age of 16 when she took on the role of Lynsay King in 1999.

After seeing her on the show, fans took to Twitter to discuss how she looks no different.

One person wrote, “Tina O’Brien hasn’t aged in 23 years.”

A second shared: “Tina O’Brien doesn’t age at all does she?”

And a third commented that Tina “doesn’t look old enough” to be a mother to their seven-year-old daughter.

Meanwhile, Tina was warmly welcomed on the sofa.

Saluting the star, Alison said, “We feel really privileged today because obviously you don’t do that many interviews.”

Tina said, “No. I love watching you both. I’m a real fan girling right now.”

She opened up about her latest Corrie story, which involves Sarah’s stalker Lydia.

They watched a clip of Carla chatting to Sarah about Lydia.

Tina explained, “Something about what Lydia says just doesn’t add up to me. I have never felt physically threatened by him. But Lydia does. It’s just weird.”

Alison gasped and said, “Will she keep clicking?”

Tina continued: “I think so, I hope so. I think Sarah loves Carla’s advice, she looks up to her. So hopefully she will listen.”

Discussing the upcoming scenes, she added, “Something’s happening with Adam and Lydia and it’s all going to kick off. A despised woman and all that.”

Lydia, played by Rebecca Ryan, has been plotting against her ex Adam (Sam Robertson) for weeks without giving any real reason why she decided to separate him and his wife Sarah.

While she said she wanted to “dismember” his life in revenge for him dismembering hers, she never revealed exactly what he did to her when they were younger.

She joined the soap opera at the age of 16

The plot has unfolded over the past few episodes, with Adam finally confessing in tonight’s episode what he thinks he did to get Lydia to behave this way.

Explaining to Daniel how he was a womanizer at university, he told his half-sibling that he was very lucky with women during his college days.

He said he managed to get every girl he wanted but soon dumped them when he got bored with them all.

He admitted that he understood why that might upset Lydia and finally confessed that he hadn’t been particularly well behaved around women when he was younger when recounting his past mistakes with the other women he was with was.
