This Morning will be performed by an all-female team on Friday – including close friends and ITV co-hosts Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson.
Two women do makeup for 48-year-old presenter Dermot O’Leary on his day off.
TV presenter Holly Willoughby shared the announcement at the end of today’s show, telling viewers: “On tomorrow’s show, it’s double trouble. Josie will be joining Alison for Friday. This morning. ”
Her co-star Phillip Schofield added: “They’ll also go head to head in a brand new guessing game, What The Hack?”
Meanwhile, Alison shared the news on her Instagram in a more lighthearted way.
She posted a video with Josie as they dance in a car.
They are seen dancing to Bru-C and Tsuki’s Dutty side by side in a small car on the side of the road.
Alison simply captioned the short clip: “Tomorrow at 10am this morning.”
Bubbly Brummie host Alison worked in front of the studios for half a term alongside Dermot.
Fans are excited to get more time to watch this hilarious couple’s hilarious movie.
During an episode of the daytime show, some viewers gasped after an outrageous X-rated joke from Dermot, causing Alison to burst into tears of laughter.
While he was being shot, Alison asked her co-presenter what he was up to, prompting the former X Factor host to reveal that he had picked up a book from the ‘library’ in the studio, saying added that he thought it would. “right on her way.”
As Alison peered in curiously, Dermot continued to open the book and read its title: Fanny Hill.
“I didn’t expect it,” Alison replied while trying to fight off his infectious chuckle, but it didn’t end there, as Dermot continued with the book’s sub-title, which is ‘Memoirs of a Cheerful Woman.’
“Put those books away now! You’re not allowed to bring them from the library anymore,” ex-Big Brother star Alison yelled back at him, but it turned out she wasn’t the only one with stitches.
One viewer commented on Instagram: “Most infectious laughter – can’t watch these two without laughing,” one viewer commented on Instagram, while another added: “Alison should be available by prescription! Cheer me on now.”
A third wrote: “I just love these two together. They should be on more shows – they never fail my day!”
