Morning viewers were left confused during Friday’s show as the ITV daytime program appeared to shift a filter to broadcast for the Peaky Blinders segment, prompting many to tune in to their TVs.
When the show returned from a commercial hiatus, co-hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary had become dull with a faded filter.
Dermot and Alison revolved around a Peaky Blinders fashion segment on the show, and while they were busy reviewing clothing, fans were left baffled as none of those present referenced the color change. sharp.
The previously vibrant studio set turned dark, prompting many ITV viewers to take to Twitter to complain that the colors had dropped.
One user wrote: “My TV f****d or This Morning changed the color of the studio.”
Another said: “What’s going on with the show’s color pitch today? Everyone looks so dull and gray.”
A third wrote: “I was adjusting the color settings on my TV when I realized that the washed out picture was PURPOSE. Thanks very much.”
One fan theorized that the filter was in place of the Peaky Blinders segment, writing: “Don’t know if they intentionally reduced the colors for this Peaky Blinders segment but it looks exactly the same.”
Alison’s gorgeous pink blazer is sure to make people question the color scheme, with the vibrant look having changed quite a bit.
One person wrote: “Does anyone else feel like they just lowered the saturation on This Morning? Alison’s suit before that was a bright neon color. “
The team immediately stopped advertising and the screen’s colors returned to normal and when the duo reappeared on the screen.
This comes after Alison welcomed another change to the studio set up yesterday on This Morning, as she struggled to read autocue.
After stumbling over her words, she confessed to viewers and host Phillip Schofield that she needed her glasses because she “didn’t know what was wrong with me”.
Alison soon dropped the lens when Phil asked the camera crew to bring the device closer, so that the automatic lens was closer to Alison.
She claims this is much better and continues reading from there, only to stumble across her words again, sending her into a frenzy.
This Morning continues weekdays at 10am on ITV.
