Thomas Markle calls Prince Harry ‘her ginger husband’ as he pledges to help his daughter Samantha in the case against Meghan Markle’s half-sister
Thomas Markle attacked daughter Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, whom he calls “her ginger husband”, as he launches his new YouTube channel.
The Duchess of Sussex’s father, 77, has told close friend Karl Larsen he is ready to give evidence against her in a lawsuit brought by her half-sister Samantha.
Thomas Markle said he would be “delighted” to face his estranged daughter and husband Prince Harry.
He said he believed his eldest daughter would win the case and revealed that he would be willing to give evidence on her behalf.
He added: “I would be very happy. I have been trying for almost 4 years to be able to meet my daughter and her ginger husband face to face in the courtroom.

“I am very emotional protecting my eldest daughter.”
Mr Markle also added that he believes Meghan, 40, should deal with the case, saying: “She cannot defend the things she has said.”
He and Karl Larsen were inspired by outspoken royal author Lady Colin Campbell and US podcast king Joe Rogan to start their new YouTube channel.
They plan to broadcast their views on current affairs – which will certainly include Meghan and Harry – on a weekly basis.
Mr. Markle confirmed: “We discovered YouTube … we decided to come in and share our story.”
Samantha, 57, is suing her half-sister Meghan for $75,000 (£57,000), alleging she lied about herself to the authors of the controversial book In Search of Freedom and in TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The lawsuit was first revealed by the Sunday Mirror in November and was officially filed in Florida last week.
Speaking in the first episode, Thomas said: “I support my oldest daughter, Samantha. In this case, she should win because Meghan’s book is full of lies about her. I’ll show up. in an attempt in this case, if it comes to it.”

Michael Kump, representing Meghan, called the lawsuit “baseless and absurd” and “a continuation of a disturbing pattern of behaviour”.
He added: “We will give [the lawsuit] minimal attention needed, that’s all it deserves. “
In November, Meghan apologized to the Court of Appeal after emails contradicting claims she did not collaborate with Seeking Freedom authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand were revealed.
The messages, revealed by Meghan’s former communications secretary
Jason Knauf, shows she sent details about Samantha and her brother Thomas Jr to pass on to the book.
But Meghan insisted: “I have absolutely no desire or intention to mislead the defendant or the court.”
Talking about the motivation behind the podcast, Mr Markle’s co-host Karl, 53, said: “Tom wanted to do it to get his thoughts out of the horse’s mouth.
“He wanted to talk about how Meghan and Harry have affected his family. The conversation will not be blocked.
“He wants his truth out there, just like Meghan’s truth was revealed a year ago in her Oprah Winfrey interview.
“He also wanted to talk about other things on the news.”
Karl – an LA-based photographer who grew up in Winchester, Hants – added: “We’re thinking of calling ourselves ‘snappers and snappers’ in the future. It sounds more appealing than Tom. and Karl.”
The first episode aired online on Sunday and also featured Mr Markle telling Karl he was surprised Prince Harry didn’t fly out to meet in person to propose to Meghan.
He added: “I think the Royal Family has some sort of sense of dignity where he’s going to take his time to fly down and meet me.”
