Co-host and close friend Karl Larsen has been inspired by Lady Colin Campbell and Joe Rogan and will see Thomas give his views on eldest daughter Samantha suing Meghan

Meghan Markle’s dad is launching his own YouTube channel.
Thomas Markle Snr and close friend Karl Larsen were inspired by candid royal author Lady Colin Campbell and US podcast king Joe Rogan.
They plan to broadcast their views on current affairs – which will certainly include Meghan and Harry – on a weekly basis.
Thomas, 77, confirmed: “We discovered YouTube… we decided to join and share our story.”
The first episode will be streamed tomorrow and will see Thomas giving his views on eldest daughter Samantha suing Meghan, 40, for defamation.

The lawsuit was first revealed by the Sunday Mirror in November and was officially filed in Florida last week.
Samantha, 57, is suing her half-sister Meghan for $75,000 (£57,000), alleging she lied about herself to the authors of the controversial book In Search of Freedom and in TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Speaking in the first episode, Thomas said: “I am supporting my eldest daughter, Samantha. In this case, she should win because Meghan’s book is full of lies about her. I will appear in a deposition in this case, if it comes to it. “

Michael Kump, representing Meghan, called the lawsuit “baseless and absurd” and a “continuation of a disturbing pattern of behaviour”. He added: “We will give [the lawsuit] minimal attention needed, that’s all it deserves. ”
In November, Meghan apologized to the Court of Appeal after emails contradicting claims she did not collaborate with Seeking Freedom authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand were revealed.
The messages, revealed by Meghan’s former communications secretary, Jason Knauf, show she sent details about Samantha and her brother Thomas Jr to pass on to the book. But Meghan insisted: “I have absolutely no desire or intention to mislead the defendant or the court.”

Talking about the motivation behind the podcast, 53-year-old Thomas co-host Karl said: “Tom wanted to do it to get his thoughts out of the horse’s mouth. He wants to talk about how Meghan and Harry have affected his family. The conversation will not be blocked.
“He wants his truth out there, just like Meghan’s truth came out a year ago in her Oprah Winfrey interview.
“He also wanted to talk about other things on the news.”
Karl – a photographer living in LA who grew up in Winchester, Hants – added: “We are thinking of calling ourselves ‘beggars and snappers’ in the future. It sounds more attractive than Tom and Karl”.
