Thomas Partey has erased memories of his disappointing debut season by emerging as one of Arsenal’s key entertainers this term as they strive for a top-four finish.

Partey began a life of stuttering in the UK after arriving in north London in a £45m deal from Atlético Madrid.
But now he is the driving force behind Arsenal’s push to return Champions League after years of exile.
And it was revealed by football.london that Partey is reaping the benefits of the extra work he did during his tough time last year in a bid to develop into one of the Gunners’ main men.
The report shows how Partey made the most of his extended period outside of the team by doing extra work during his time on the sidelines to build his muscles to adapt to the rigors of the team. Premier League.

The midfielder himself admits that his first year at the club was “four out of 10”.

This 28-year-old has had a fruitful partnership with Granite Xhaka at the base of the Gunners midfield.
That solid combination has laid the foundation for Arsenal’s countless young attacking talents to freely play and win football matches.
But Jamie Redknapp argued over the weekend that Partey was “more than just a defensive player” following his recent performances for the London side.

And he believes he has the kind of “aura” needed to be a key player for Arsenal as they try to find their way back among Europe’s elite.
Redknapp told Sky Sports: “He’s lovely when he’s holding the ball. “They win the ball back and allow the team-mates to go forward.
“When he first arrived at Atletico, he had a lot of injuries.
“But he has everything, he has that aura in him. He knows when to play the ball, slows down the game, picks the pass between the lines. You can see that what he does. doing with Xhaka, he gave Odegaard that platform to go and perform.
“He’s not just a defensive player, he can do so much more because he holds the ball very well.”
