Thor Bjornsson has questioned whether KSI is “just fooling around” when the YouTube star suggested he could win in a fight between the couple.

There is a 140 pound difference between Bjornsson and KSI’s fight weights for their fights with Eddie Hall and Logan Paul respectively. But that didn’t stop the Brit from suggesting in a recent episode of the Side+ podcast that he could beat Bjornsson if the pair ever fight.

The rapper, whose last album All Over The Place topped the UK Singles Chart, is currently gearing up for a Ring return and is expected to face off against either Austin McBroom or Alex Wassabi in August. And on the podcast, he explained he was going too fast for the strongman, who dropped Hall twice to win their grudge match.

“Yes, brother, he would be slow.” KSI responded when asked if he could beat Thor. “You have to be fast, in and out, in and out. It’s one of those things because he’s slow, while he’s charging up to punch you can hit him.”

And the Icelander hit back with a neutral comment, asking if the Brit meant business. “Interesting,” Björnsson mused in a post to his followers Instagram. “I wonder if he really thinks he can beat me or if he’s just kidding. What do you think?”

Both men are currently weighing their options for a return to the ring, with Hall admitting he would be willing to have Bjornsson’s name tattooed to earn a rematch. Meanwhile, KSI seems leaning toward a fight with Wassabi, who recently defeated his brother Deji in London.

Wassabi was scheduled to fight Manny Pacquiao’s son Emmanuel Jr. at a charity boxing event in May, but pulled out of the fight after striking a deal with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions to focus on “bigger fights.” . It remains to be seen if MVP will get him the KSI fight, but the Pauls have previously worked with KSI and his team on a number of events.

For Bjornsson, he has hinted that while he would love to face Hall again, he also wants to end his rivalry with the Brit. He claimed after the fight that the pair could go head-to-head again, but admitted he’d rather move on after winning a relatively comfortable unanimous decision.

“I respect him as an athlete,” Bjornsson said of Hall after the fight. “But I just want to move on and honestly, between us, I wouldn’t really want the rematch because I don’t want to communicate with him even though I’ve moved on. I wouldn’t say we’re going to be best friends, that’s a fact.”
