He Loves Talking “s ***”: Thor on Eddie Hall

Fans of Thor Bjornsson joked about Eddie Hall’s height on the fight poster for their boxing match.

Bjornsson and Hall will clash on March 19 in Dubai as they prepare to tackle their long rivalry in the ring.

This couple was supposed to meet last year in September but Hall was forced to withdraw from the clash after being separated by a bicep during its preparation.

And now fans have joked about Hall’s height on a fight poster made with four weeks away, with one fan commenting: “This is clearly photo-edited! Either that or Eddie is standing on a stool.”

Another agreed: “Eddie will be injured and pulled out of the fight when he falls onto the stool he’s standing on.”

One fan joked: “Is he standing on top of a big box?

Another continued the joke: “I see Eddie has grown a bit taller.”

Another fan took a more serious approach to the height difference, saying: “Eddie’s fanboys will be activated because of the height and Thor says Eddie has withdrawn.

“But you all have to remember that Eddie kept claiming that Thor was going to pull out, but he ended up pulling himself out.”

One fan also concurred: “Dude, I’ve already caused him grief over that photo, he has to stand on a stool to look you in the eye like that.”

Bjornsson stands at a terrifying six feet, nine inches and has a six-inch height advantage over Hall, who stands at six feet, three inches.

Both guys have made significant moves to confront Hall losing 40kg while Bjornsson also lost 50kg.

However Hall is planning to weigh more around 148kg after stacking up on Christmas weight to increase strength during training.

The pair have a rivalry that stems from their campaign to be the World’s Strongest Man, which both have now won.

Bjornsson confidently brought the victory after having boxing matches against Steven Ward, Simon Valily and Devon Larratt.

His most recent fight against Larratt ended in an inning after securing a regular stop and the Icelandic star has vowed to secure another goal against Hall next month.

“I think I’ll knock him out in the third or fourth round,” Bjornsson declared while talk to iFL TV about the war.

“I’m not too worried about when or how, I said it by acting silly while we were talking but I’m not too worried about the timing.

“I’m just focused on me, focused on playing the best I can and people can make predictions about how they’re going to win games.

“But at the end of the day when you’re in the ring, things can change very quickly and you have to quickly adjust even though you have a plan to play because it might not work.”
