Three dogs rescued from garden fire in Peacehaven

THREE dogs were rescued from a fire in a garden this morning.

The fire started around 11.45am at The Bricky, Peacehaven.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service rescued three dogs and refrigerated a gas cylinder.

The fence was destroyed by the flames and one side wall of the house was charred.

A fire department spokeswoman said: “We were called at 11.46am to reports of a fire on the outside of a two storey building.

“We used four respirators, a hose reel and a main jet.

“We rescued three dogs and there were no reports of injuries.” Three dogs rescued from garden fire in Peacehaven
