Three injured after a car crash at a cafe off the A259 in Seaford

A car crashed into a cafe on Broad Street in Seaford around 12.30pm today.

The driver was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters and taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for further treatment.

Two other people who were not in the car were also taken to the same hospital.

A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “Three patients have been taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital for further treatment with injuries, including fractures.”

The air rescue service, the fire brigade and the police also took part in the incident.

Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
