Ticket inspector racially abused on Portslade to Hassocks train

Police seek to speak to a man after racially abusing a ticket inspector on a train.

At around 6.30pm on Saturday 6 August a train guard attempted to check a man’s ticket on a train between Portslade and Hassocks.

The man racially insulted him. When other passengers tried to intervene, the man threatened them and exited the train at Hassocks station.

Officials would like to speak to the man pictured as they believe he may have information that could help the investigation.
