A hard-working cleaner has wowed millions with her incredible videos of remodeling ‘biohazard’ homes.

Faye McCann, 30, transforms hoarders’ homes into sparkling new ones, leaving her fans stunned.

The West Denton, Tyne and Wear business owner launched Clean As A Whistle five years ago and began working with properties in the area.

Her business has only grown from strength to strength and she has gained a loyal following after sharing “before and after” clips on social media.

“We started regular household cleaning five years ago, but we’ve really focused on biohazard, trauma and mental health cleansing for the past three years,” she said NewcastleLive.

“It’s something I’ve always been interested in, but it’s incredibly difficult to break into the market.

“I had to invest a lot of money in training and learning. We also had to partner with people like the QE hospital and its discharge team and other psychiatric hospitals in the area and so on.

“We’ve also built all sorts of good relationships with people. We also just want to help – there are some people who live in very bad conditions.”

It’s dirty work every day for Faye and her team, who are constantly confronted with mountains of dirt, litter, mold and obscure items that you would never expect to find in a household.

Speaking of the worst cases she’s dealt with, Faye said: “The last video I uploaded was probably one of the worst cases I’ve had to deal with as there were some serious mental health issues. The guy who lived there couldn’t use the toilet because it wasn’t actually accessible.

“You wouldn’t believe it – car tires were piled outside the doors, maybe 5,000 bottles of spirits that were on the property. He’s peed in Captain Morgan’s empty bottles and actually pooped in pizza boxes. It was definitely up there. “

Faye has also encountered pet hoarders in the past — those who don’t properly dispose of dead animals and leave them on the property itself.

She added: “The other terrible ones have to be animal hoarding. When you clean up and find dead animals it’s like ‘oh my god’. They think ‘There’s another cage with something in it’.

“They are definitely the worst, but the video I uploaded yesterday was just as shocking.”

And social media has certainly helped take Faye to the next level in terms of free publicity just by the shock factor alone – with millions of views across her Instagram, Facebook and TikTok channels.

Many loyal viewers who constantly visit Faye’s business pages online also leave lovely comments praising her and her team for their tireless work.

Caroline McCoy wrote: “Oh my god! That’s incredible! Amazing work!” while Zoe Clark added: “Just amazing, well done! Top work.”

Shellie Prior said: “I hope you all are so proud of yourself ladies job satisfaction,” while Andrea Cowen commented: “Wow that’s amazing Faye you should be very proud of yourself and your team.”

Benjamin Stanley, asked: “How on earth do you rate a job like this? Respect for taking it on,” and Sue Murray said, “Hard work, but what a result!”
