Tim Sale is dead: Legendary Batman cartoonist dies aged 66 in memory of DC

DC and Marvel took to Twitter on Thursday to pay their respects to Tim Sale after the cartoonist’s death was confirmed.

Tim Sale passed away at the age of 66 after being hospitalized with serious health problems earlier this week.

The legendary cartoonist’s death was confirmed on social media after his Twitter account changed its name to ‘Remember Tim Sale’.

He is best known for works such as Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween Specials, Batman: The Long Halloween, Batman: Dark Victor and has influenced many creative generations.

A post on his page on Thursday read: “I am saddened to announce that Tim Sale passed away today.

“He got through with the love of his life by his side, and loves you all so much. Share the pictures and stories under this post, as we hope to share them with the community. copper.”

The post follows a comment by DC Creative Director and Publisher Jim Lee earlier in the week saying how unwell the artist is.

“I regret to share the sad news that legendary artist Tim Sale has been hospitalized with serious health problems,” he wrote.

Tim’s partner Susan Bailey responded to the post saying she was reading replies to him to “brighten his day” and explaining he was in “good spirits, no matter what”. defy everything”.

Fans and organizations also quickly took to social media after the sad news.
